A lot of these stories I had not seen the episodes yet, but was ALWAYS a huge fan of the painted Blish sci-fi covers.

So cold, spacey and yet SO cool.david_bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00218727673816200051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893206653438189717.post-85111133941282270812012-12-06T22:49:22.947-05:002012-12-06T22:49:22.947-05:00That book introduced me to Star Trek. So, I just read it along with other SF paperbacks I bought for a dime, or less than a quarter anyway, at the used book store. I think it increased my appreciation for the series when I finally saw it.thingmakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14011048675050396438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893206653438189717.post-88575699552639910452011-09-12T09:20:55.118-04:002011-09-12T09:20:55.118-04:00That's a nice catch. I still have my childhood copy. The 4th Doctorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12411279555092075775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3893206653438189717.post-45378642701289352011-09-10T02:02:24.664-04:002011-09-10T02:02:24.664-04:00What a neat post, Christopher... I can't believe I missed the connection, but I'm less familiar with the TMP cover than the old book cover, and had never seen them side-by-side like this.
