Screenwriter Rod Serling (best known as the creator of The Twilight Zone) on the set of the original Planet Of The Apes in 1967-8, where he appears to be discussing the finer points of Ape Law with Kim Hunter's Dr. Zira.
The picture reminds me of the piles of black and white film and horror magazines I used to adore as a youth. Oh for the good old days of reading a pile of magazines drinking a coke from a glass bottle and munching on penny candies... sigh.
Burt Reynolds was up for the role of Brent in Beneat the Planet of the Apes, but turned it down. Thought that was interesting. just putting in my 2 cents.
