Another vintage TV commercial - in this case, a campy, 30-second spot for the theatrical release of Mike Hodges' Flash Gordon feature, from December, 1980.
If it were a current trailer it would be about 6000 quick cuts and one of them would show Ming getting impaled at the end of the film. Flash was under-rated in the day. DOn't think people really knew what to make of it. I have to say the soundtrack by queen made the film even better
LOL I love those old commercials. I like how it ends with a hook. "Find out at a theater near you!"
