The voice acting is just adequate, kind of on par with those old Star Trek and Space: 1999 Power Records, but the story's pretty good. Here's a download link.
Thanks to Jason for the head's up!

Very cool! I didn't know there was an audio story for Ord Mantell. I'd read the comic version years ago.
ReplyDeleteThanks, man! I saw this at a local department store when it came out but lacked the cash to get it.
ReplyDeleteWow... somehow I feel like I've seen this before or was aware of it back in the day, but I forgot all about it and never ever had a chance to listen to it. This is great, thanks for posting the link!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting, I'm a big Star Wars fan.
ReplyDeleteI just listened to it... it was actually quite good! I like this adventure better than the Ord Mantell story they did in the comics, it feels more like a "real" Star Wars story. I thought the voice acting was fine, and... was that Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime, Venger) as the narrator?
ReplyDeleteHiya, I was wondering if you knew of another download link for this story, or could dropbox it to me or something? I wish they'd included it as an extra in the NPR Radio adaptations CD boxed set.
ReplyDeletefor those still interested you can find i here
