Check out this decidedly 70s piece of sci-fi memorabilia: a Close Encounters Of The Third Kind hologram pendant! This ad appeared in Starlog #15, back in the Spring/Summer of 1978. Cool.

    I don't know what's scarier: The fact that they offered this to the public or the fact that some guy in a disco was wearing it over his hairy chest.

    The alien on the pendant looks more like Don Rickles than the being created by Carlo Rambaldi for the film.

    I bought a few of these...they were awesome...i say were cuz over time it dried up and the image totally vanished...i still have the hologram.m..its gone...sigh
