An Out Of This World Triple Feature!

This is a drive-in trip I'd have loved to take in '78! A triple bill re-release of John Dark/Kevin Connor science fiction adventures from American-International Pictures: The Land That Time Forgot (1975), The People That Time Forgot (1977) and At The Earth's Core (1976) - all starring the indomitable Doug McClure!

Sorry posting has been so light the last few days, but I've been fighting the flu, and the battle's been wiping me out. I think I've got the bug on the ropes now, so, with a little luck, I'll be back up to form - and posting regularly - again soon. Stay tuned, Star Kids!

  1. I dunno... seems like a recipe for a McClure overdose to me.

    "What happened?"

    "Christopher OD'd! He over-Douged!"

  3. Love these movies! I got the Land/People DVD and then opted for the UK-released Doug McClure Fantasy Adventure Triple Bill DVD boxset. It includes Land that.../Warlords of Atlantis/and At the Earth's Core. Fun stuff! Thanks for the blog, I love it. Looking forward to a print version (?) of Perils on Planet X eventually.

  5. "Land" is still my favorite of these three. Just add "Warlords of Atlantis" to the mix and you'd have all four McClure movies. Doug McClure simply showed up for a paycheck in "People" and his appearance always reminds me of Charlton Heston popping up in "Beneath the Planet of the Apes." Very brief.

    1. Regarding People... as I always say, "Some McClure is better than no McClure!"
